I've been in private practice since 1994 some people reading this profile may have already met me and visited my practice in those early days; (a very warm welcome to you). ... At that time my office was situated in the Kingfisher Suite, that was near Barn's Transport and very close to the new ASDA.

That seems a long time ago, in those days when people came to see me they would often ask after explaining their needs, " have you ever treated anyone like me (with my symptoms) before".

A lot of the time, I would have to reply, No, but I'm willing to do my best to help you"

Well here I am 15yrs later. Wow! how things have changed, now people so many hundreds of chosen my services that I can offer a big smile and say Relax, I can and I will help you!

Training and Qualifications

This was and still remains the most important question for anyone intending to visit a therapist. "Are you qualified"? So lets do that one, - The short answer is Yes, I hold a fully recognised diploma in Hypnotherapy and Hypno-Analysis - hypno-analysis is fundamentally the use of psycho-analytical techniques within a hypnotherapy session.

My diploma was issued by the H.C.B. (Hypnotherapy Control Board) after successfully completing an extensive two year training period at which time I became a full member of the International Hypnotherapy Association. (then recognised as the largest group of professional hypnotherapists in Europe). Nowadays, Hypnotherapy has become much more widely recognised by the medical establishment and its popularity for effective self help has resulted in an increase in the establishment of Ethical Professional Associations.

Currently my credentials are held on the National Hypnotherapy Register of the British Hypnotherapy Association. 14 Crown Street, Chorley, Lancashire. PR7 1DX .
